JANUARY 8: Clean Off Your Desk Day
Apparently every second Monday in January is National Clean Off Your Desk Day, which was a good thing, because if you know me at all, you know I'm not a very organized person. I ended up cleaning my whole room, which was much needed. If anyone thinks this holiday thing is unproductive, there you go.
JANUARY 9: Static Electricity Day
I didn't have a ton of time today to dedicate to this holiday, so I just put on some fuzzy socks and tried to create shocks. Simple, but effective.
JANUARY 10: Bittersweet Chocolate Day
I went to the Mighty Baker and got a bittersweet chocolate cookie with peanut butter chocolate chips. Off the topic of holidays, but if you haven't been to the Mighty Baker you have to try it! It is so good! I'm obsessed with their almond macarons. I'm telling you guys, they have cream puffs filled with fresh fruit the size of your face and personal cheesecakes that put the Cheesecake Factory to shame.
JANUARY 11: National Milk Day
I love milk. I'm that weird person that has a glass of milk with their dinner, so this holiday was one I was looking forward to. I started off my day by stopping by the vending machine to get some milk for me and Jessica to get through our 8am history class with. I got white milk for me (classic is best) and cookies and cream for Jessica.

After school got out (I'm in class from 8am-8pm Tuesdays and Thursdays) I went to the BYU Creamery and bought two gallons of milk. Then, Duffy and I brought milk over to our guy friends' apartment. We were finally able to put the milk straws from straw day to good use!
JANUARY 12: Curried Chicken Day
I had the morning off, so I called my mom up and after she got off work we went to a restaurant called Thai Evergreen and got yellow chicken curry. I'm a huge fan of curry, so it was a great day!
JANUARY 13: Sticker Day
I'm a kid at heart, so sticker day was the day for me! I went to Walmart and bought a bunch of Star Wars, Spider-Man and Avengers stickers. I stopped by the Trolley and let everyone pick out stickers. The servers decorated their books with them (I put Darth Vader in my book) and everyone else put them on their clothes. It was goofy and fun.
After that I went over and hung out with my friends Brennan and Craig and we stuck stickers on a bunch of random things, including ourselves. I put an Iron Man sticker on the handle of their iron, so I thought I was pretty clever. Haha.
JANUARY 14: National Sunday Supper Day
I love to cook, so I was looking forward to this holiday. I made my Grandma Harward's homemade Spaghetti, which is my favorite, and had all my guy friends over for dinner.
All in all, a pretty good week, with some delicious food. At this point I was feeling pretty great about the whole holiday thing, and was looking forward to some of the fun holidays coming up, like MANDI DAY.......
