Week 14: Celebrate Every Day Everyday

First of all, look at the great shirt I got in the mail this week! It says "CELEBRATE EVERYDAY" and then the name of the website I bought it from, where I find most of my national holidays, www.nationaldaycalendar.com

APRIL 2: Peanut Butter and Jelly Day
For PB&J Day I did the obvious: made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Not super difficult, but who said that this had to be?

Which do you like better, crunchy peanut butter or creamy? As you can tell from the picture above, I'm a crunchy person. I love the extra texture.

APRIL 3: Chocolate Mousse Day
To celebrate Chocolate Mousse Day I went to the fudge stand in the BYU bookstore and bought a milk chocolate mousse truffle. Super rich, but super delicious!

APRIL 4: Vitamin C Day
For Vitamin C Day I bought those little cartons of Minute Maid orange juice and brought it to everyone at work. Here's me and some of my coworkers getting our Vitamin C:

APRIL 5: Burrito Day
For Burrito Day I decided to do the unhealthy thing and have a burrito for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast I bought a breakfast burrito in the Cougareat. Definitely wouldn't recommend this burrito to anyone. It was extremely dry, and even an ample amount of ketchup couldn't save it.

For lunch I went back to the Cougareat and bought a shredded chicken burrito from Taco Bell. This was much better than breakfast. It's one of my favorite items on Taco Bell's menu. Also, have I told you guys about how I live in a triangle of Taco Bell's? The closest place to eat from where I live is a Taco Bell, which is right next door. The closest place to eat from the Trolley (besides the Trolley itself) is Taco Bell, which is right across the street. Then, to complete the triangle, the closest place in the Cougareat to the JFSB, which is the building on campus that I spend most of my time in, is Taco Bell. I think I'm being haunted buy Taco Bell! Anyways, I'm weird; here's my burrito lunch:

For Burrito dinner, since I don't have a break, I got a burrito from the vending machine:

APRIL 6: Caramel Corn Day
I have a really yummy recipe for caramel corn, and it's pretty quick to make, so I was excited about this one. I worked that night and so after everything, I didn't get to making it until pretty late that night, but it was still delicious! Here's the link to the recipe.

APRIL 7: Tag Day
During my second shift at work that day, some of my coworkers and I had an impromptu game of tag. It wasn't very long lived, but it happened.

APRIL 8: Empanada Day
My coworker/friend David was super great and got me empanadas for this holiday. We ate them back at my apartment and they were super delicious. Before today I'd never had empanadas before so I finally realized that they are a wonderful food that I'd been missing out on all this time.

All in all, there was a lot of food this week. I especially enjoyed giving everyone the little orange juices at work for Vitamin C Day and eating empanadas with David for Empanada Day.
