APRIL 9: Unicorn Day
I asked Kayla for advice for unicorn day and she informed me that Craving's Cupcakes in PG was having a deal for Unicorn Day that if you buy a Unicorn Float you get a Unicorn Cupcake for free! After work, my coworker, Jess, and I drove up to PG to get the Unicorn Treats. We, somehow, were extremely lucky and got the last two Unicorn Cupcakes. Look how adorable they are:
I gave mine to Brey for helping me out with some tech issues with my homework.
The Unicorn Floats were amazing. They're vanilla ice cream with strawberry cream soda, topped with marshmallows, cotton candy, edible glitter, and sprinkles. Here's the picture:
Super cute, right?! Yeah, I loved it.
To top off Unicorn Day I wore my shirt that says "Unicorns are Real."

APRIL 10: Siblings Day
For National Siblings Day I brought Jessica a Kinder Egg to our 8am History class. Can I just say that I am super lucky to have the best sibling ever, who also happens to be my best friend? From reading the Harry Potter series out-loud together in our different character's voices, to laughing in the middle of the night until we're crying, I'm so lucky to have a big sister like her. From traveling the world together to camping out in our own backyard we've had the best of times. She's the kindest, most caring, most wonderful person I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and I hope to be just like her when I grow up!
I may or may not have spent 10 minutes laughing about this picture with Jessica during class. The bar covering my eyes is a perfect representation of my shortness in life.
APRIL 11: Pet Day
For National Pet Day I spent the day at my parent's house with my dogs Cooper and Lolli. Here's a picture of their cute selves:
APRIL 12: Grilled Cheese Day
For Grilled Cheese Day my cute mom brought me a jalapeno grilled cheese to campus from Even Stevens! It was so sweet of her since I was on campus all day! She's the best.
APRIL 13: Make Lunch Count Day
For Make Lunch Count Day I ate lunch at the Tolley between shifts. Since I was working a double, I really did need to make lunch count! All my coworkers were disappointed that I didn't celebrate National Kissing Day. Maybe next year.
APRIL 14: Pecan Day
For National Pecan Day I felt like cooking. I ended up making a pecan encrusted salmon. It was delicious, and it felt really good to get back to cooking!
APRIL 15: Titanic Remembrance Day
For Titanic Remembrance Day I watched Titanic, which just so happens to be my favorite movie. In high school my friends and I would watch it all the time and drive around in my convertible singing "My Heart Will Go On" maybe a little nerdy, but we had fun.
My favorite day this week was Unicorn Day. I'm already dying to go get another Unicorn Float! It was also one of my busiest weeks of the year, with a ten page research paper, and two other papers due. Somehow I survived and celebrated the whole week through!
